Let's be real, none of us dress up everyday.
This is my casual wear.

My mom genes need to kick in.

Sweater: borrowed, Skirt: thrifted $4, Tights: Target gift, Shoes: Macy's

I had to teach a class at church todays you guys.
It was super last minute.
By last minute, I mean I literally walked in and had to start teaching.
They were short teachers so they asked me to cover.
I had to teach four years olds...
I'm kind of scared of kids. And my mom genes have definitely not come in yet.
(read this post if you want to know about my fear)
But I have wanted experiences to try and become comfortable with children.
First five minutes I'm there, one of the kids just cries and cries and is yelling for their mom. I don't know what to do or what to say. I just hold him and keep repeating "it's okay, your mom will come get you later." That didn't really work...
Then the lesson is on nature...?
How is that even a lesson?
I'm sorry, I had nothing to say.
Uhm, birds are nice and they eat bugs for us?
I resorted to coloring for a good 25 minutes.

I felt so awkward teaching and I didn't know what to say at all.
At least it was practice, right?
I hope my mommy genes come soon.

"You look like an Easter Basket"

Sweater: Target $13, Shirt: thrifted $4, Jeans: thrifted $5, Shoes: gift, Bag: thrifted $2

I walked into work and one of my co-workers said: "You look like an easter basket!!"
Uhh, thanks?

This outfit it alright, it's my casual for sure.
Throw on a blouse and oxfords? Sounds good.

I really just wanted to show off my new bag.
I got it for school and my laptop fits in it perfectly!!!!
I'm super duperlly excited about it :D

Oh hey Spring, I'm actually glad you're here.

Please ignore my weirdo face right here.
Before:
 After:
Dress: thrifted $5, Belt: thrifted $1, Shoes: Swap Meet in AZ $7

I guess it doesn't really look like I did much to this dress.
But I did take in the sides, the sleeves, and took up the hem.
Just in case you wondering.

I've said this before, but for the new comers, just a little fun fact about me,
I don't really like summer, and I don't usually like spring because spring tends to lead to summer.
Oh how the world works like that ;)
But you guys, I'm actually kind of excited for spring.
I'm starting to explore using more colors, like that belt and those vibrant shoes.
I think this spring will be full of experiments and colors.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll grow towards liking summer too.
Let's hope for it :)
My wonderful, crafty grammy made these earrings for me.
I love the color. And I love her even more.

My Dad; the photographer.

Just a little fun fact for you guys, I get embarrassed reallllllly easily.
Even around family and friends that I'm comfortable with and love.
Even with my blog, I don't tell anyone about it.
I told my parents but I didn't even tell my sibs, my sister Christie fell upon it one day.
I usually just set my camera on my garbage can, use self timer, and take my pictures by myself because I'm embarrassed to ask someone to.
Well, today, my dad demanded that he take my pictures.
He said:"Let me take your pictures, sometimes they look squishy."
Squishy? I don't even know how to respond to that.
This is me, being embarrassed out of my mind:
 These are real people.
They got a little better towards the end.
Skirt(worn as a dress): thrifted $5, Sweater: thrifted $5, Shoes: thrifted $6, Tights: Target, Belt: thrifted $1

I just can't help but laugh at all of these photos.
So awkward.

But none the less, I love my dad to death.
He's the best.
Even if he says I look "squishy."

Prom Shoes.

Before:
(please excuse my room.. it's clean now:)
After:
Dress: thrifted $6, Skirt(worn under dress): thrifted $3, Tights: forever 21 $3.80, Shoes: Macy's

See those cute shoes up there?
I wore those babies to my Senior Prom.
Wanna see my dress?
Good; because I want to show you ;)
I felt beautiful that night.
My dress was perfect.
But I actually had the worst prom experience ever.
I cried at prom people, three times actually...
I just had a horrible date and my group left after being at prom for 30 minutes.
I was home by midnight. On prom night. The night that every girl dreams of and plans her whole high school career. Sitting on my couch. Like a big loser.
But wanna hear the sweetest thing ever?
My dad stayed up until 2am and watched Juno with me.
Love this guy.
He wears socks and sandals, which I absolutely HATE.
But I let it slide, just because I love him that much.

There's a lot more to it, but I'll spare you the story.
