Fake Cowl.

My momma made me this scarf a couple years back.
I found it in a box the other day and fell in love again.
It's not actually a cowl or whatever you call it.
I just pinned the two sides together and then wrapped it around my head.

Copy Cat.

You guys know my cousin Sophie, right?
If you don't, you should. This is her blog.
Anyway, she got this shirt that I fell in love with. See here.
I was at Forever21 the other day and totally saw that same shirt, but in a different color. It was the only one left and it was my size.. I just HAD to buy it.
So, I'm a copy cat. But at least I'm copying someone who is super cute.

Hey, Soul Sista.

Over Thanksgiving Break, I got to go thrift store shopping for the first time in months!
I went a little crazy.
I found this romper at Savers and I loved it because it actually goes to my knees.
If you guys didn't know, I'm BIG into modesty.
It's a value I truly cherish and I try my hardest to dress that way.
But I'm not perfect, no one is.
And I know how hard it can be these days to find clothes that hit your knee or cover your shoulders, but honestly, it's worth the search.
There's my two cents.
 Close up of fabric:
For my birthday, my sister Kellie sent me a Forever21 gift card.
Just my favorite store ever.
I bought those lovely shoes up there with it.
Thanks sister :)

Only a couple more days until Christmas!
I haven't done any shopping yet..
Oopsie.

Epic Fail.

I stink at college guys.

This is how I feel about finals:

This is how I feel about going home for the holidays:

Two more finals to get done and I'm out.
Hallelujah.

I've worn sweatshirts all week.
So, no outfits posts, until I'm done being stressed.

Happy Holidays :)

"You look tired"=You really just look like crap.

Don't you hate when someone says, "You look really tired."
It's just the nice way of saying, "Oh dang, you look realllllly bad today, go home and get back in bed before you blind people."
Thanks girl who I sit next to in math.

Are you guys excited?!

There is a first for everything...

I had a lot of firsts today...

First of my firsts, I sported a messy bun on top of my head and actually went out into public with it and didn't care one bit.
Yup, real cute.
Next, I decided to wear my backpack in my photo shoot today for the first time.
This is my super cool Eddie Bauer backpack.
I also wore colored tights for the first time today.
Thank you WalMart for only making these babies $5.
First time I've worn this belt and shirt this semester.
First time my face literally matches the walls.
I know I'm super pale, but really?
I look like a ghost. Fa Real.

Okay, I'll stop boring you with all my random firsts.
Only because you asked nicely though, cause I could go on and on.

I enjoyed not caring what my hair looked like today and wearing me backpack in my pictures.
I'm so cool guys.
Not ;)

Oh, and this outfit might look familiar...
I have this turtleneck in mustard yellow and I wore it with the same skirt the other day.
That's just how I roll. See here, if ya wanna.

Birthday Girl.

I had the best birthday ever yesterday. Seriously.
Wanna know why? I'll tell ya.

I didn't plan on doing anything for my birthday. I had talked about throwing a pirate party, but I just never got around to planning one. I really thought my night would consist of maybe going to dinner with roomies and then just studying. But, my roommates and friends surprised me big time. I'm walking back from class, I open the door, and BAM I am attacked with silly string. You can watch the video below if you want.

No one has ever thrown me a surprise party and it was so much fun! All my friend were dressed up as pirates and then I changed and they had decorated the apartment and they bought me all sorts of pirate accessories. Best birthday ever.

I seriously have the best friends ever. I will never forgot this birthday. I feel so blessed. Who knew turning 19 could be so fun?

Do any of you have a birthday you won't ever forget?

I'm just so happy :)

Remixer.

I know a lot of bloggers are doing the "30 for 30" right now, which I absolutely love!
I didn't except the challenge, but I think I do a pretty good job remixing with the clothes I  have here at school, which really, I didn't bring that much.
The dress I wore yesterday is one of my favorites and I wear it ALL the time.
I've worn it probably 10 more times than I've posted about it.
See that mess to the left side? Yup, I'm a messy college student.
Don't worry, I cleaned it up after seeing this picture because I was amazingly embarrassed ;)
Outfit Deets:
Dress(worn as a skirt, I suppose): thrfited, $3
Sweater: thrifted, $8 (new obsession, sooo comfy)
Scarf: mommy made it for me!
Tights: gift
Cowboy Boots: thrifted, $6

I wanted to show you guys how I've remixed this dress.
So, if you want, you can see how I've worn it here, here, and here.

Are you guys masters at remixing?

By the way, have any of you seen the movie Red?
SEE IT. It is honestly so good and I laughed through the whole movie.
I'm even seeing it again with my brother just because I liked it so much.
Go see it and then tell me whatcha think, k?
K good :)
