Awkward and Awesome.

I feel like I've been gone forever. But thankfully, my parents are bringing my camera to me this weekend! Yay! I've never done this before, but I thought it would be fun to do the Awkward and Awesome Thursday that Sydney from the Daybook does. Here goes my attempt:

Awkward:
-Having an annoying girl in one of my classes that I don't really like and texting Rob and telling him that I don't like her and that I'd really enjoy punching her in the face. Then going to my New Testament class and singing the song: "I'm trying to be like Jesus." Wooooops....
-Realizing that I'm engaged and I don't have friends. Except Rob. And maybe three other people.
-How ridiculously poor I am. I have a $1.77 to my name right now. Dang you, college. (thank goodness I get paid in four days)
-I'm a five year old and I hate going to the bathroom. I will wait until the last possible moment. This includes the pee dance and Rob making water noises to the point that I can't stand it any longer and I have to run to the bathroom before I pee my pants. Peeing is annoying ... I have to get up, go to the bathroom, undress practically, sit on the toilet, and do my business. Why can't I just be a male? They've got it easy.
-Having a meltdown over something silly and then telling Rob I'm on my period and he laughs and then says: "That clears a lot up."
-Snorting. I've become an avid snorter when I laugh. I already have a ridiculously loud laugh. Now snorting? Please plug your ears.
-BUNK BEDS. I am 20 years old and I have to sleep on a bunk bed. Getting up and down from that thing is a work out.

Awesome:
-Rob cooking. I get out of class at nine o'clock three days a week and he makes dinner for me. I'm a lucky girl. Who knew a man cooking was so attractive?
-My sister pretty much planning my wedding. Thank you Christie :)
-Getting to see my parents this weekend. I'm pathetic and I miss them even though I saw them a couple weeks ago.
-Thrifting the coolest blanket in the world for our engagements. Oh, and an awesome friend who took our engagements for free. Double bonus!
-Two words: DRESS SHOPPING.
-Being the happiest I've ever been. What love does to you, my friends.
-Red lipstick. I've become obsessed.
-Rob forcing me to show my blog to our friends. Them loving it and making me feel really embarrassed but then feeling really cool about myself. I've realized I can be proud of this little bloggy of mine. I need to stop being so critical of myself. This blog is an achievement. Thanks for the boost in self esteem guys :)
-My New Testament class. I learn something new every time I go. I love learning about my Savior and the marvelous things that he did during his ministry. I'm so grateful for his love and sacrifice.

The Proposal.

The Proposal. Watch it if you want. My voice is ridiculously high pitched and annoying. But, it is what it is. Here's the story. Thrifting is my favorite activity in the world. Hence my blog title. Boy knew this. Boy took me to D.I. (my favorite thrift store).Whenever we go thrifting together, we both go into the dressing room and then show each other what we have on. I went in with a couple things and the boy had a couple of sweaters. He tells me to come out. I don't see him and I start showing my skirt off to my family. He opens the door wider, I see him wearing a shirt that says:"Will you marry me?" I'm shocked. I say: "yeaaaah" in the worst valley girl tone I have ever heard. We kiss. We hug. That's it. April 7th, 2012. Idaho Falls Temple. To start our eternity. I couldn't be more excited :) The end.

Camera-less.

I've seemed to have misplaced my camera. So, until I find it, there probably won't be much outfit posting. But I do have a surprise...

I'm engaged :) He asked me at my favorite place in the whole wide world: a thrift store. Boy knows me way too well. More on that later though.

Sunday Best.

Rob: sweater, shirt, pants: ross, bow tie: jcpenny, shoes: burlington coat factory
Me: sweater, skirt, shirt: thrifted, shoes: from Robert :) (target)
Sunday is my favorite day of the week. The boy also looks exceptionally cute on Sundays. He also loves bow ties. It's a win/win.
