Sponsorship.

I've wanted to do this for awhile, but I was kinda scared. But here it goes! If you're small business, blogger, artist, company, whatever it may be and you wanna be a sponsor of Thrifted Things shoot me an email and we'll talk it over :)

Here's to you; Kool Aid Kid

shirt: thrifted, skirt: I made it, belt: from a pair of pants, shoes: ASOS

When I walk home for school, there seems to always be this boy selling Kool Aid. Ever time I pass, he always comments on my outfit. Twice he has told me that he liked my shoes and then today he said: "Nice skirt. It matches my watermelon kool aid. Tell your friends about me!" He's probably 9 or 10 and I'll see him dancing on the corner and yelling out "Kool Aid! Get cha Kool Aid." Thanks for boosting my self esteem Kool Aid Kid. I hope your little business booms.

Date Night!

A couple Fridays ago, being the domestic goddess that I am, (Joking. You should see our apartment... I really hate folding socks and they are a mess on the couch as we speak. But then again, we're not really speaking. So, as you read this they're still on the couch not being folded) I made chicken and baked potatoes for the hubs for dindin. When Rob got home he said: "It's date night! I wanna take you out." Looking at the dinner I made, I said: "Okay!" and I grabbed my purse and we went out. Sometimes just putting the dinner in tupperware and going out with my handsome son of a gun is way more important than actually eating the dinner I really made. Plus, that dinner was a lot better.

20 Questions.

Rob and I went to Utah this past weekend! It was so much fun. I got to see my parents and let me tell you, I was beyond excited. Living in different states is really hard. I just miss them lots. We hung out, went to IKEA (Where Rob and I got cute things for our apartment! Tell me why a simple gray rug makes all the difference?), and even went to my favorite restaurant-- The Old Spaghetti Factory. Goodness, I can't wait to see my fam again!

Whenever Rob and I go on long car trips, we always play the game 20 questions. Which is dumb that we call it that, because it's more like 100 million trillion questions. They way we play is we choose a word, thing, place, person, etc, and then the other person asks question to try and guess. I usually get kind of frustrated because Rob chooses really hard ones.... But, this game, we both chose bazaar ones. Including: a unicorn, the cold side of the pillow, and window displays.

It took Rob forever to get unicorn. It was hilarious. He kept asking questions like: "Is it tangible?" and I would say, "It could be." Or, "Have I seen it?" and I would say: "Maybe." Bahahaha, it was so funny.

Bob.

I've been calling Rob, Bob lately. When we're older, I really want people to call us: Bob and Kathy. It has a ring to it. I've NEVER been a Kathy, but I think as an old woman, I could accept it. I also want to be called Kitty. Especially grandma Kitty. Bob's not feelin' it. We'll see how he feels in.... 50 years. ha.

Bob's quite the snappy dresser. I kinda, sort of, really like him....

Bobkat.

If Rob and I were to have a celebrity couple name, it would be Bobkat. We also like to do this with other people names. For my mom (Stacy) and my dad (Chuck) their celebrity couple name would be Stuck. For my brother (Kendall) and his wife (Chelsee) theirs would be Kensee. It's a fun game.

What's your celebrity couple name?
